Unearth to headline the Atticus Metal Tour 2; dates announced, special guests added!

Metal Blade Records and Atticus Clothing, in association with Revolver Magazine and Headbang for the Highway, are proud to announce the dates for this year’s Atticus Metal Tour II. With powerhouse veteran metal act, UNEARTH, at the helm, there is no telling when the carnage will end and the party will begin.

UNEARTH’s Trevor Phipps comments: "This is going to be our first North American Headlining tour in over a year and we are amped to get back out there. We'll be playing tunes from all of our albums, some extra deep cuts we haven't played in a while and some stuff we haven't played live yet from The March. We've been messing around with some different lights and stage set ups and will mix up the set each night, so it will be different from past tours. It's a solid package of bands and we can't wait to get on stage, play a headlining set and rage with our fans."

Joining UNEARTH on the tour are Stick To Your Guns, Veil Of Maya, The Ghost Inside and Carnifex. In addition to the tour lineup, Darkest Hour, Stray From The Path and Your Demise will be joining the party on select dates. Those dates and other details will be released on http://www.myspace.com/atticusmetaltour as they become available.

It kind of stinks because there isn't a lot of activity here. But, when there is..........it's all for the bands at least. Smile

First show of the tour was great. I guess San Diego sold out tonight, and we shall see how tomorrow goes, I'm heading to that one too.
Unearth killed it. The 4 opening bands were alright...I didn't really like Stick to your Guns. The venue was pretty small, crappy sound, but they of course nailed it. They played a few oldies, a couple from The March, and a few inbetween. They did their usual circle pit to Sanctity of Brothers too. It was overall VERY much the one hour drive to see them. GO SEE THEM ON THEIR NEXT STOP!

Went to the 3rd show of the tour last night as well. They killed it...SO much better than the first show. Bigger venue, bigger sound, bigger brawls in the crowd. Ken and Buz were having some kind of solo competition. lol. Every song they'd add little mini solos to show each other up. Then at the end, Ken got up on the speakers, and of course, Buz had to out-do him, so he kicked over all the speakers, then piled them all up on top of each other, climbed up, and then jumped off. Haha. It was an amazing show.
